Purchasing/Data Entry

American Hakko Products, Inc. a leading Manufacturing Company of High-Quality Tools for the Electronic Industry has an immediate opening for Purchasing/Data Entry position. The ideal candidate will be a creative, energetic, and organized individual to work out of our Valencia, California office.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for processing purchase orders, including by not limited to preparing purchase orders through vendors, or online ordering system.

Contacting vendors, working with web-based processes, obtain price and delivery information

Data entry into a spreadsheet and/or current data system, accurately and efficiently

Act as a focal point for the resolution of basic purchasing discrepancies, by communication with customers and suppliers

Interfacing with multiple business and computer systems, initiating actions related to invoices and payments.

Receiving quantities and schedules, inspection and rejections, and other related issues.

Work closely with Engineers regarding product ordered.

Essential skills & Experience:

Work closely with Japan vendor, Bilingual in Japanese a plus.

Minimum of 1-year administrative experience with basic purchasing, material, inventory experience.

Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn and gain knowledge of an integrated database system

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and/or external customers.

Clear accurate data entry and documentation skills

Strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Other:

 Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

 Ability to multitask

 Demonstrated problem solving ability

 Strong teamwork and collaboration skill

 Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Salary & Benefits

Salary $20 - $25 per hour - depending on experience

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8am - 4:30pm
