Gene Check Inc is a busy Veterinary Diagnostics Laboratory looking for a qualified entry level Laboratory Technician to join our team

About us:

Gene Check, Inc is a busy Veterinary Diagnostics Laboratory looking for a qualified entry level Laboratory Technician to join our team. We routinely perform genetic & viral testing of various animal sample types (blood, tissue, serum, and feathers).

Duties:

Following established SOPs to complete the tasks below:

· Unpacking mailed samples

· Logging samples into filing system and processing client paperwork

· DNA extraction & purification

· PCR amplification

· Gel and capillary electrophoresis

· General lab duties such as reagent manufacturing, glassware cleaning, and restocking

· Data entry of results into filing system

Requirements:

· Minimum of a bachelors in a science-related field

· Laboratory experience (through jobs or education)

· Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and complete a variety of lab tasks as needed

· Strong interpersonal and team working skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Attention to small detail is essential

Position Details:

Full-time position located in Greeley, CO.
