Functions in a dependent role under the direct supervision of the Patient Flow Coordinator/Nursing Supervisor. Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. Verbally redirects the patient from engaging in risk behaviors. Summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance by communication device or STAT Alert Alarm (if appropriate). Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and Institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies. All new hires must attend a paid mandatory training that starts on August 3, 2020 and ends on August 12, 2020.
What You Need to Be Successful:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and write required. Successful completion of Hospital Training Program required. Ability to work with others as a member of the health care team. Prior nursing experience desirable.
