Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Collection Manager to join our team. The Collection Manager will be responsible for overseeing the collection department, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely payments from clients.

Duties:

· Manage and oversee the collections department, including hiring, training, and supervising the collections staff.

· Develop and implement effective collections strategies to bring delinquent accounts current and minimize losses.

· Monitor and analyze collection performance across the loan portfolio to ensure departmental and company goals are met or exceeded.

· Work closely with borrowers to establish payment plans and resolve delinquencies in a timely manner.

· Coordinate with legal counsel and other third-party vendors as needed for foreclosure proceedings and other collections activities.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing collections practices.

· Collaborate with other departments, such as underwritings, to facilitate efficient loan resolutions processes.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on collection activities and performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, or 5 years of relevant experience.

Sales background and real estate background preferred.

Strong understanding of collections best practices within real estate, and experience with hard money lending.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection targets and KPI’s or similar.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills,

Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
